Last Day in Nurnberg

On my last day in this unique and historical town within an advanced country, it was with a heavy heart as I took a glimpse of the little town once again to bid goodbye.
And of course, capture them into memory cards for my own reminiscence forever...

In the late afternoon, there are stalls set up along the streets in the town selling fruits, vegetables, souvenirs, etc.

It is a pretty common sight to see street performers here in the busiest period or the peak hours of the day.
They will either stand still; statue-like and start to dance around when you throw coins into their hat
For instance, I was surprised when I saw this pixie statue in the middle of the street which I don't recall was there on my first visit to town (mind you, I have a pretty good memory).

Upon closer look, I realized this is no statue but a pixie in flesh and blood and she started dancing (like clockwork!) when a lady passing by threw coins into her hat.
She took that as a cue to start dancing for the lady's benefit to show her appreciation

And this is their parking meter; a rather old and vandalized one (poor Siemens)

I noticed most of the people here own a dog or dogs and they often travel around with their dogs in tow. Some own really huge dogs like an Alsatian, Dalmatian, German Shepherd, Rottweiler but there are also smaller ones like this:

And just like Malaysia in the early 90's, they use Mercedes Benz as their cabs

Most of the shops are still open for shoppers
