The very fact that the size of their churches or rather, cathedrals really amazed me!
Of course, this culture was influenced by the fact that Macau was under the influence of Portuguese before; where most of the nation were Christians and one of their main objectives during their conquer was to spread Christianity.
I felt like I was in Rome!:)
The cathedrals are all so huge from the outside; and even the interior was not disappointing
I was so happy to be able to see such beautiful churches; really feels like I am in a Holy Land; surrounded by angels!~
The main square
Stella Maris stone
Another famous tourist spot in Macau is this famous mansion belonging to one of the richest merchant back then in the olden days.
Unfortunately it was closed on the day we were there; tough luck!
It was really hot in Macau; compared to Hong Kong island and dehydration was getting to us that we stopped by for a refreshing drink
This fruit stall with drinks seem to be quite popular here
We bought this cup of fruits with our choice of watermelon juice
Really cool and refreshing on such a HOT day!!
YUMMY!! I love fruits!! Such a variety of fruits in it - grapes, strawberries, kiwis, watermelon, mangos and even dragonfruit!!
All my favorite fruits (with the exception of mango:p)
Macau is also really famous for its narrow streets and lanes
And the main mode of transportation are these cute scooters:)
I saw Lo Hong Ka!
This is another temple; Nui Wo temple - a famous deity in creation of the world
The whole street heading to St Paul was lined by shops; promoting their local products to the tourists
St Paul ruins from afar....
The famous landmark in the TVB series; The Return of cuckoo
I am finally here to see this famous landmark of Macau!~
To the Fort
Big Cannon!
Another landmark near the St Paul ruins is the Nezha Temple
Bronze statue on the street
Famous Almond cookies; specialty of Macau!
