Public transportation in Hong Kong is just so good; really convenient to get anywhere!!:)
Nice view when we arrived at Ocean park; this is the view before we went in.
The cloudy weather provided lots of chilly winds and strong breeze!
Entrance to Ocean Park!
Admission ticket charges
Souvenir shop near the Entrance
Flamingoes in the pond
Cute little panda lamp posts and flower pots
Welcome to the Panda House
One of the world's longest escalator
It was really high up and steep!!
Nice scenery from the top
Pacific Pier
Where we get to watch the famous dolphin and seal performance
I find them rather passive compared to Sentosa Island's show:p
World of Sharks
Underwater World
Amusement Park
Interesting dessert we found in Ocean park
Available in 2 different flavours
For your information, there's 2 parks in Ocean Park; and they are separated by the hill. To get to the other side which is the theme park, you will need to catch a ride on the cable car.
This must be the busiest cable car operation I have seen so far; they are all travelling back and forth simultaneously and the machinery is just clockwork!
There's so many that it looks like various colourful balls in the air!
Reaching the Theme Park
Hot Air Balloon
Image portraits or fondly known as caricatures
Mr BIG Shark!!
We went to the Panda House; this time to see live pandas (3 imported from China - An An, Le Le and Jia Jia)
So adorable!
There's even circuit camera for this pair!
Lots of Panda memorablia in the Souvenir Shop
I don't know whether I was too tired or worn out, somehow, shopping didn't entice me at all, I barely bought anything from Ocean Park!
With Panda (mock one)
With Stilt Man!
Sea Lion Performance
Kids Amusement Park
Birds' Live performance
Rather disappointing since it was rainy weather and all the birds were acting up; giving the trainers a hard and humiliating time as they will not appear when summoned.
It is not anyone's fault; it's raining and birds fear getting wet; it's uncomfortable for them anyway:(
It was evening when we decided that was the end of our tour in Ocean park; bidding farewell
Tata to the famous Hong Kong's Ocean Park I have seen so much of in TVB dramas since I was a little girl!:D
