Taiwan Travelogue: Tamsui Waterfront and Ferry Pier

Tamsui waterfront overlooks the Tamsui River and is an enchanting place to walk down to, taking in the view of the sunset and a glimpse of the Fisherman's Wharf.
It is rather a romantic place to enjoy the view with your loved ones, families and friends, sharing a lively banter and feel the breeze blowing towards your cheeks.

Along the waterfront is the Ferry Pier, where one can take the ferry (with a fee; tickets can be purchased or one can just use the Metro Link card directly) across to the Fisherman's Wharf or the Bali (八里).

We took the ferry to Fisherman's Wharf, and enjoyed the ride from the chugging boat and the occasional slight splash from the pattering waves against the boat's motion.

A glimpse of the famous Lovers' Bridge, as we are approaching the Fisherman's Wharf, which will be in the next post...

To be continued....
