Nurnberg - Schoner Brunner (Golden Fountain)

In the heart of the historical town of Nurnberg, one must not miss the Schoner Brunner which is also known as the Golden Fountain.

The whole fountain is golden in colour (I am not sure whether it's pure gold or plated) and it is surrounded by high fences.

This fountain is unique in its carvings on it and also the rings around the gates.

One of the ring; which is bronze one is mythically used to change your luck.
All you need to do is to turn the ring 3 times in the clockwise direction and wish for something you want to change.
Whether it is true, it depends on your perception as this is a folklore passed down for generations.

In fact, I see it being kept alive by the fascinated tourists and locals alike who all took turns in rotating the ring.
